Local Planning Policy No. 31: Container Deposit Scheme Infrastructure

Council at its Ordinary Meeting held 25 May 2021 resolved to adopt the Local Planning Policy 31 – Container Deposit Scheme Infrastructure in Residential Areas, pursuant to Clause 4(3)(i) and Clause 4 (4) of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Scheme) Regulations 2015.

City’s Adopt-A-Patch Program Branches Out To Support Local Birdlife

Three local primary schools participating in the City of Kalamunda’s Adopt-A-Patch program are installing artificial cockatoo nests thanks to funding from the Federal Government’s Communities Environment Program to boost local habitat for birds.

Nominated in recognition of his long serving and active membership of the Bush Fire Brigade, City of Kalamunda resident and Senior Community Local Hero, Simon Bell is a lifetime member of the Bush Fire Brigade having volunteered for over 17 years and assisted with over 550 fires.
