The function of Corporate Services is to coordinate internal corporate services provision and functions to the organisation and deliver external service relevant to economic development, tourism and culture the arts and library services.

Nathan has more than 20 years’ experience as a Senior People Leader, Development Director, Town Planner and Urban Designer gives him a rare insight into what drives core value, and how to manage complex teams and engage with numerous stakeholders. He takes a high level strategic and collaborative approach, working with internal and external stakeholders, consultants, contractors and partners to deliver large-scale and boutique solutions for government.
His business acumen, passion and strong negotiation skills are essential in securing long-term growth and legacy opportunities for strategy, policy and planning. Nathan holds passion for improvement creating highly functional places for the community and his commitment to excellence at every stage is evidenced through his outstanding outcomes and his leadership approach.
The function of Development Services is to oversee urban and regional planning processes and assess developments to meet statutory requirements while ensuring high quality-built form outcomes for the City of Kalamunda. The area also manages strategic land use planning, building, development compliance and regulatory services.

Nicole is a lifelong learner who has 15 years’ experience within local government.
Nicole has a Bachelor of Communications and has enhanced this qualification over the years with a Diploma of Mass Communication, Diploma of Public Relations, Diploma of Community Development, Diploma of Project Management and a Certificate in Engagement.
Nicole is passionate about leading and developing high performing teams. This passion and commitment was recognised by Local Government Professionals WA as the States Emerging Leader of the Year in 2021 this enabled her to complete the Rising Leadership Programme. This Programme has enhanced Nicole’s understanding of the importance of workplace culture and how to help others achieve their best. Nicole was then awarded the prestigious National Emerging Leader of the Year in 2021 by Local Government Professionals Australia from a strong field of State winners. .
Nicole has a desire to ensure the City of Kalamunda has a strong and viable community. Her portfolio enables her to work closely with the community.
Sinead holds a Master of Professional Engineering (Civil Engineering), Bachelor of Science (Civil Engineering Specialisation, Second Major Integrated Design) and Master of Business Administration. She is an active member of the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia (IPWEA) and is the current chair of the Young IPWEA committee. Sinead was awarded the Winner of the Young IPWEA Emerging Leader Award WA in 2020, in recognition of her positive influence to industry and community.
The function of Asset Services is to manage physical and natural assets under the control of the City. Types of assets include roads, drainage, footpaths, buildings, parks and natural areas.
Brett holds a Bachelor of Engineering, Masters in Business Administration and is a graduate from the Advanced Management Program from Melbourne Business School. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a member of Local Government Professionals.
In his role, Brett oversees special projects that sit outside of the City's 'business as usual' asset delivery program.
