About this Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in shaping the Kalamunda library experience. As a Community Librarian, you will be at the heart of a vibrant public space, delivering programs, events, and services that engage, educate, and inspire
the local community.

About You
The ideal candidate is an experienced and confident leader who can inspire, guide, and support a diverse team. They provide constructive feedback, encourage professional growth, and foster a safe, positive working environment where team members feel valued
and motivated. They have a proven track record in effective team management and are comfortable taking initiative to identify and address workplace safety and operational improvements.
They bring a strong understanding of public library operations, including current trends, relevant legislation, and best practices. Highly organized and strategic, they are skilled in budget management, monitoring expenditures, and preparing clear reports
to support decision-making. They are adept at planning, developing, and delivering library programs, events, and services that are responsive to the needs of the community while contributing to broader strategic objectives.
Hours of Work
This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 75 hours over a fortnight with an option for fortnightly RDO.
About the Benefits
This position offers a salary of Level 6 being $93,063 – $100,087 per annum, (depending on experience and skill level) plus superannuation.
