NOTICE - 5 December 2023: The City's Library's Mobile App Is Currently Unavailable The City of Kalamunda Library app is not available. We have learned that we will be without the City of Kalamunda Libraries App until the early months of 2024.
Please note that it is only the City of Kalamunda Libraries app that is affected, and not the apps for services such as Libby (OverDrive), Hoopla, BorrowBox or Kanopy.
Search, reserve and renew items through our online library catalogue.
The app’s ability to connect to our main catalogue servers is broken, meaning some features may still appear to work when in fact they are showing old, outdated information.
No. The app will not search the catalogue for books or show your checkouts or holds. It will show hours and locations, but these are not updating and may be wrong.
The only feature of the library app that is working if you are currently logged in, is ‘My Barcode’ of which you can continue to use to scan at the Self-Check machines or at the Customer Service Desks. All other information it shares is no longer accurate.
Not now, however you can still search the library catalogue and access your account on your device.
The City of Kalamunda Libraries has mobile searching of the library catalogue enabled. The way to use this different option is to put a shortcut to the mobile version of the Library catalogue website on to your device. Included below are steps showing how to do this on your device.
