About this Opportunity
This is a hands-on role within a busy workshop environment, responsible for ensuring fleet, plant, and equipment are maintained to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance. The role is reporting to Workshop & Fleet Supervisor. You’ll play a key role in day-to-day workshop operations, supporting both mobile and static servicing activities while contributing to efficient scheduling and delivery of maintenance programs.
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs across a diverse fleet and plant equipment
- Support preventative and predictive maintenance programs to maximise asset reliability
- Ensure all work meets compliance, safety, and quality standards
- Assist with workshop coordination, scheduling, and communication of service activities
- Contribute to a safe, productive, and well-organised workshop environment
- Provide input into parts, consumables, and fleet replacement planning
About You
We are looking for a qualified and experienced mechanical professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and contributing to a safe and efficient workshop environment.
- Mechanical Trade Certificate (or equivalent) and HR Driver’s Licence
- Proven experience maintaining and repairing vehicles, plant, and equipment
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills across mechanical systems
- Sound knowledge of safe work practices and workshop compliance requirements
- Ability to maintain accurate service and repair records
- A team-focused approach with the ability to support and guide others
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, reliable attitude
Hours of Work
This is a 9 month fixed term full-time role working Monday to Friday, 76 hours over a 9-day fortnight with a rostered day off option.
About the Benefits
This position offers a salary of Level 9 being $92,565 – $95, 369 per annum, plus superannuation.
