An exciting opportunity has arisen for an adaptable, collaborative, and engaging Digital Trainer to join the City of Kalamunda. This role will play a key part in supporting the successful transition to our new TechnologyOne OneCouncil ERP system, helping our people build the confidence and capability to work in new ways.
About this Opportunity
This role focuses on supporting the successful implementation of the TechnologyOne OneCouncil ERP system through the delivery of high-quality, user-centred training and support. You will support the implementation of the OneCouncil ERP system, by designing, and delivering engaging learning materials and delivering training across a variety of formats, including face-to-face sessions, virtual workshops, and self-paced resources.
Working closely with subject matter experts, business analysts, ICT teams, and business units you will translate system functionality and process changes into practical, easy to understand learning experiences.
You will also:
- Develop and coordinate training schedules aligned to key project phases such as testing, go-live, and post-implementation.
- Provide hands-on support during system go-live, including floor walking and user support
- Maintain and continuously improve training materials and resources within SharePoint and learning systems
- Contribute to process documentation and broader change and capability uplift activities.
- Help foster a culture of continuous learning and digital confidence across the organisation.
About You
You will bring strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to connect with people at all levels and support varying levels of digital proficiency. You will have well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across a range of stakeholders. A collaborative approach, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential.
You will also bring:
- Experience in designing and delivering training for ERP or complex ICT systems
- An understanding of adult learning principles and how to apply them in practice
- Experience working with digital tools such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and content authoring platforms
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a genuine interest in improving how people work
- Experience in Local Government or the public sector is desirable.
Selection Criteria
- Proven experience in the development and delivery of digital training materials for ERP or complex ICT systems.
- Demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles and their application in organisational settings.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across multiple departments and levels of digital proficiency.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the use of digital platforms to engage learners.
- Experience supporting technology implementations or large-scale change programs, preferably in a Local Government context.

Hours of Work
This is a 12-month fixed-term full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 75 hours over a fortnight with negotiated RDO per fortnightly or monthly.

The salary range for this position is $93,063 - $100,087 per annum depending on skills and experience.
