As the ICT Systems Administrator you will provide pro-active technical support across multiple business systems and operational tools to build, maintain and ensure the ongoing performance, security and reliability of the City of Kalamunda’s network

The City of Kalamunda is seeking a results focused Manager to lead the City of Kalamunda’s Asset Planning & Delivery Team. With planned significant level of capital works programs over the next 10 years, this Manager will be measured by
the successful outcomes in line with the City’s core values of Service, Professionalism and Quality. The challenges will be myriad but on offer is a role that will be able to leave its mark on the City for generations to come.
Reporting to the Director Asset Services this position will lead the Asset Planning & Delivery Team through effective leadership, expertise and management of asset planning, design and survey services, project delivery and traffic engineering for
the City’s 10 Year Capital Works Program.
This position will suit a professional who has highly developed people skills, communication skills and project management knowledge. The role will necessitate demonstrated success in the oversight of capital works programs. The ability to coordinate
varied and conflicting demands to agreed standards and timelines will be essential to this role. Exceptional stakeholder management and engagement skills and an understanding of community engagement will also be necessary.
The successful candidate will also be required to develop and implement project management processes and procedures for the organisation. As such the candidate shall bring to the City a great deal of expertise in Project and Contract Management.

The City of Kalamunda is in its next phase of recreation development and we have an exciting and unique opportunity for a person who has a passion for sport and recreation in the Club Development and facility planning space.
Our ideal candidate may currently be studying a formal qualification in sport and recreation at either University or TAFE and be looking to commence learn on the job in your chosen profession or be a recent high school graduate, looking to commence a
career in sport and recreation and undertake formal qualifications in 2024.
The successful candidate will join the City’s Community Development team where they will commence learning about the broad sport and recreation industry, primarily through the Club Development and Leisure Planning functions.
The position will primarily perform administrative tasks such as Reserve bookings, arranging Club Development forums and workshops, responding to various sporting club enquiries and assisting in the administration of community funding program.
The position will evolve to allow the successful candidate to commence learning about the planning and capital development of the City’s sporting facilities and Reserves to help guide the City’s future in delivering contemporary sport and
recreation facilities for the community. This will include preparation of external funding applications, assisting in club liaison during the design and delivery of key sporting facilities.
As a Graduate Project Officer – Sport and Recreation, the City will provide you with on-the-job training and mentoring to further your knowledge and skills in club development initiatives and sport and recreation planning in a local government authority.
This is a casual position working up to 34 hours per fortnight for a 12-month period, with working arrangements to be negotiated with the successful applicant around their study commitments.
