Council Elections

The Electoral Commissioner conducts all local government postal elections in Western Australia and can also conduct voting in person elections on request under the Local Government Act 1995.

The next state-wide ordinary elections are scheduled for Saturday, 21 October 2023.

2021 Local Government Elections

The City of Kalamunda held local government ordinary elections on Saturday, 16 October 2021 for a total of six (6) councillor vacancies, each for a four (4) year term. The results were:

  • 2 x North Ward
    OSENTON, Andrew [1,568 votes | 30.95%]
    THOMAS, Margaret [1,527 votes | 30.14%]
  • 2 x North West Ward 
    COOPER, Lisa Elected Unopposed
    O'CONNOR, Dylan Elected Unopposed
  • 1 x South East Ward
    STALLARD, Geoff [1,810 | 58.09%]
  • 1 x South West Ward
    MISKIEWICZ, Kellie [904 | 35.11%]
