Upcoming roadworks – Welshpool Road East, Carmel
As part of the City of Kalamunda’s 2024/25 Capital Works Budget, the City of Kalamunda will be upgrading the road surface on Welshpool Road East, east bound lane, from Tanner Road to Canning Road East, Carmel.
Date of works: Monday 12 May 2025, anticipated to take one week to complete
Timing: Day works 7am – 6pm
Location: Welshpool Road East, east bound lane, from Tanner Road to Canning Road East, Carmel.
Property access
Properties located adjacent to the proposed works may experience some disruption in relation to exiting and entering the property. If this situation should occur then you are requested to contact the City’s contractor on 9249 8821, in the first instance, who will then make the appropriate arrangements with you.
Bin services
During these works bin services may be impacted. Please ensure your bins are out before 6am and the contractor will endeavour to service them prior to the works commencing. If not emptied, please leave the bins out to be serviced the next day.

These timeframes could change due to contractor availability and weather conditions.
Emergency services, local businesses, and residents will be notified in advance. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained.
Please follow all detour signage and allow extra travel time.
