Temporary road closure: Grogan Road, Perth Airport

Perth Airport has officially started construction on its new parallel runway, part of a major $5 billion investment in aviation infrastructure to support Western Australia’s future growth

To reduce disruptions, extensive planning is underway to carefully sequence each project. Site preparation works for the runway are currently being carried out by construction partner Ertech. As part of these early works, Grogan Road will be temporarily closed to allow for safe tree removal and service location activities.

  • Date of closure: Monday 16 June 2025 for 2 weeks
  • Timing: 6am - 6pm (Monday to Friday)
  • Location:  Grogan Road, Perth Airport

Property access 

Properties located adjacent to the proposed works may experience some disruption in relation to exiting and entering the property. If this situation should occur, the contractor will be available onsite to make the appropriate arrangements with you.   

Important information: 

  • These timeframes could change due to contractor availability and weather conditions. 
  • Emergency services, local businesses, and residents will be notified in advance. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained. 
  • Please follow all detour signage and allow extra travel time. 
  • We appreciate your patience and cooperation during these necessary works.
