When you join the library you agree to accept the library’s borrowing conditions. If you are under 18 years, a parent or guardian will need to sign the register accepting responsibility for your membership and use of the library resources.
When you join online you will be presented with a temporary library card number which will allow you to reserve items online. You will be able to collect your membership card at any branch by providing identification with your name and current address and details of an alternative contact which will allow you to borrow items. Children under the age of 18 years will require a signature from their parent or guardian.

Any member may borrow ten items per library card.
We have books in standard and large print, audio books, DVDs, music CDs, magazines, items in languages other than English, and resources for learning languages.

The loan period for items is three weeks (3).
Loan periods may be extended twice either by phone or in person, or once online, provided the item is not overdue or required by another reader. Loan periods for eBooks, eMagazines, eAudiobooks and Kanopy may differ.
