Recognises the achievement of local athletes who have represented their state or country in their chosen sport. Junior under 18 up to $250, Senior 18 - 25 up to $150.

Nominations are sought directly from local schools who are invited to nominate an outstanding student.
Each year the City of Kalamunda sponsors a ‘Student Citizenship Award’ to acknowledge a student who demonstrates exceptional values of citizenship from each Primary and Secondary school within the City.
Students are presented with a $40 gift voucher.
Supports local sport and recreation groups to implement initiatives that extend and support the level of participation and increase the number and variety of activities available.
