This fee applies when the allocation has been exhausted and the resident chooses to pay for the use of an additional general waste skip bin.
This fee applies when the Contractor has made contact with the resident to arrange for excess or non-conforming waste to be taken out of skip bin to enable collection. If, after making a request to the resident, the corrective action has not been undertaken, the City is notified and a written notice is sent asking resident to resolve the issue, should the issue not be resolved within 72 hours this fee is payable for the City to remove & dispose of the excess or non-conforming material. The skip bin needs to be emptied to enable it to be returned into service for other residents to book. Noting: That Properties to which this charge is Applied are then not able to access the Skip Bin Services until such time 1) this Fee is Paid in full and 2) for the balance of the financial year.

Waste Refuse - Recovery Fee if property Demolished and owner has not contacted the City to remove bins and bins are missing. On demolition applications states to complete the request for removal of bins to recoup the City's assets.
Replacement Bin requested as Bin Stolen and a Police Incident Report produced if requested.
Mattress and Whitegoods Collection: The City of Kalamunda offers a mattress and whitegoods collections service. To arrange collection of your mattress and whitegoods please contact the City on 9257 9999. Residents should advise the Customer Relations Officer when they will be placing the items on the verge so an appropriate time for collection can be arranged. Note: we are unable to collect from inside private property. Payment can be made over the phone or in person at the City of Kalamunda Administration, 2 Railway Road, Kalamunda.
Disposal of commercial waste incurs a waste disposal charge and also requires a vehicle permit.
Residents/Ratepayers of the City of Kalamunda have access to the Walliston Transfer Station, during normal operating hours. Residents must bring their Entry Pass (issued annually with your Rates) and Photo Identification with residential address (i.e. Drivers Licence).

Apply for a Vehicle Permit
Charges apply for commercial operators using the Walliston Transfer Station.
The City charges commercial fees for any of the following:• Commercial/trade Waste• Your vehicle or trailer is commercially signed or badged (unless you have a valid vehicle permit)• Your waste is from a work site• You are transporting waste for a fee or reward
Note: Residents cannot give their Entry Pass to gardeners, handymen or builders. The Walliston Transfer Station is for residential use only, NOT commercial use or anyone being paid for a service. Any waste deemed commercial will incur associated fees and charges.
For residents wanting to dispose of general waste, green waste or recycling at the Walliston Transfer Station with branded/commercial vehicles and/or trucks up to 3.5T GVM, a permit is required. It will take 7-10 business days for the permit to be processed. A vehicle permit is required for oversized trailers (maximum 12ft by 6ft) to dispose of green waste only. No horse floats or car towing trailers permitted. No trucks over 3.5T. No trailers over 12ft.
