The City of Kalamunda is inviting parents and carers with children aged 4-12 to a special information session on 24 March 2020 about children’s exposure to technology and how to handle it.

The City of Kalamunda is serious about protecting our precious waterways with the installation this month of a gross pollutant trap in Stirk Park. The trap, also known as a baffle box, will greatly improve the quality of storm water entering Stirk Park and the pond, and the public will be able to see it working through the see-through lid.

The City of Kalamunda will investigate the feasibility of local solar farms off the back of positive community feedback to its 2019 Environmental Sustainability Initiatives survey. Following Council endorsement of the idea, the City will now appoint a consultant to complete a feasibility study and report findings by mid-2020.
