Held during November, a wide range of activities on offer for all senior residents in the City of Kalamunda.

ALL EVENTS ARE FREE  - Bookings are essential.

Tickets are limited! If for some reason you aren't able to make a booked event, please contact the City as soon as possible to allow the reserved space to be given to someone else.

Seniors Week 2019

Friday 1 November: Senior Residents Art Exhibition

Venue: Zig Zag Gallery, 50 Railway Road, Kalamunda
Date: 1 – 11 November
Theme: “That’s How I See It! Everything is Open for Interpretation.”
Opening 2:00pm - 4:00pm, Friday 1 November

Tuesday 5 November: Melbourne Cup Luncheon

Venue: Woodlupine Community Centre, 88 Hale Road, Forrestfield
Time: 11:30am – 4:00pm
Race Day Luncheon & Entertainment! Watch the race that stops the nation live on the big screens. Dress your finest for the Fashion Parade and be in the running for fantastic prizes!

Tuesday 12 November: Fish & Chips Cicerellos

Time: 10am - 3pm
Enjoy a leisurely bus ride to the iconic Fish ‘n Chip destination, Cicerello’s Fremantle for lunch by the sea. Don’t forget, this is a free event! Package includes return bus trip, fish basket, dessert, tea and coffee. Pick up from Jack Healey Centre or Woodlupine Community Centre.

Thursday 14 November: Supper Club Variety Show

Venue: High Wycombe Recreation Centre, Newburn Road, High Wycombe.
Time: 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Supper Club with performance, dance and the music that not only filled the dance floors but shaped our lives!

Friday 15 November: Bingo

Venue: Woodlupine Family and Community Centre, 88 Hale Road, Forrestfield
Time: 1:00pm – 4:00pm
Bingo by the Forrestfield Leisure Club. Afternoon tea provided.

Seniors Exhibition

Held in Seniors Week in November, artists are free to interpret this theme in any media, including but not limited to painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, mixed media and photography. Entries to the annual Senior Residents Art Exhibition are open and artists over the age of 55 living in the City of Kalamunda are invited to submit their work. There is no entry fee to the exhibition and all pieces must be available for sale.
