The Kalamunda Railway Heritage Trail – Perth Hills Trail Loop Stage 1 was officially opened today, 15 December 2020. Thank you to everyone who joined us on this momentous ride and to our awesome Western Trails Alliance Ltd (WTA) volunteers who spent over 1000 hours creating a safe recreational space for our community to enjoy. The Kalamunda to Pickering Brook Trail took a substantial amount of hard work by so many people, thank you!

More than 60 local businesses have registered to accept ‘Kala Cash’ gift cards, an EFTPOS based gift card program, launched this week in the City of Kalamunda. Businesses throughout the City have jumped on board this buy local initiative funded and established through a partnership developed between Community Bank Forrestfield and High Wycombe Bendigo Bank and the City of Kalamunda, in response to effects of COVID 19 on local business.

Community Invited To Kalamunda Men's Shed Open Day

The Kalamunda Men’s Shed is holding an open day on Saturday, 14 November from 10am to 4pm. All members of the community are invited to check out the Men’s Shed in Lesmurdie with members giving live demonstrations and guided tours for small groups throughout the day. Children can get involved by taking part in some hands-on projects too.
