General Waste Skip Bins 

The blue skip bin is for general waste only. Any unaccepted items will need to be removed by the resident. 

Not Accepted items below: (Items listed below can be taken to the Walliston Transfer Station unless has ** next to it, then they can be taken to Redhill Waste Management Facility (please call them on 6219 7333 as fees may apply):

• No gas cylinders / fire extinguishers or flammable waste **
• No hazardous waste (chemicals, medical waste, paint) **
• No lawn sod, lawn rolls **
• No sand, soil or dirt **
• No asbestos **
  
• No hardiflex or fibro/fibre cement materials **
• No builders waste including – bricks, pavers, concrete and tiles
• No green waste including lawn clippings
• No liquid waste of any kind (motor oil only can be taken to the Walliston Transfer Station)
• No car parts (call the Walliston Transfer Station 9257 9803 for more information)
• No tyres
• No mattresses
• No white goods including fridges and freezers
• No e-waste - including computers, DVD / CD players, heaters, printers, radios, televisions, vacuums and small electrical household items.
• No batteries (including in toys, remotes etc.)

Accepted items include: (ensure items are dismantled to fit in skip correctly as they must not go over lip of skip bin)

• Bed frames/headboards
• Bulky household items
• Exercise equipment
• Floor coverings (carpet/underlay)
• Furniture (such as tables, chairs, cupboards, drawers, dismantled couches)
• Garden pots (clean, no soil inside)
• Old bicycles
• Oversized cardboard packaging (alternatively can be taken to the Transfer Station)
• Roofing insulation (must be bagged in a CLEAR bag only)
• Toys (batteries to be removed)
• Wheelbarrows (tyres removed)
