The City of Kalamunda is undertaking vital asphalt works at Lawnbrook Road W (Walliston) on Wednesday 15 & Thursday 16 January 2025, between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

The City of Kalamunda will temporarily close Newburn Road (between Macao Road and Sorensen Road) from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, January 23 to January 28, 2025, to complete asphalting works.

The City of Kalamunda advises of temporary road closures to facilitate asphalt works, including profiling and asphalting. The closures will occur for three nights within the specified period.

Instances of damage have included destruction of public toilets and damage to playground equipment, with repairs costing the City approximately $50,000 each year, funds that could otherwise support new community projects and programs.

The City of Kalamunda’s Environmental Health Officers recently visited Kalamunda Christian School to deliver an educational incursion as part of the Department of Health’s Fight the Bite campaign, teaching students proactive ways to minimise the risks associated with mosquitoes.
