The City of Kalamunda will temporarily close Newburn Road (between Macao Road and Sorensen Road) from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, January 23 to January 28, 2025, to complete asphalting works.

City Calls for Community to Stand Together Against Vandalism
The City of Kalamunda is urging residents to help curb recent rises in vandalism and graffiti affecting local facilities. Instances of damage have included destruction of public toilets and damage to playground equipment, with repairs costing the City approximately $50,000 each year, funds that could otherwise support new community projects and programs.

City Educates Students to 'Fight the Bite' in Mosquito Prevention Program
The City of Kalamunda’s Environmental Health Officers recently visited Kalamunda Christian School to deliver an educational incursion as part of the Department of Health’s Fight the Bite campaign, teaching students proactive ways to minimise the risks associated with mosquitoes.
We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Owners, the Whadjuk Noongar People as the Custodians of this land. We also pay respect to all Aboriginal community Elders, past, present and future who have and continue to reside in the area and have been an integral part of the history of this region.
