City Launches Appointment-Based Duty Planner Trial

31 May 2024 12:01 PM

The City of Kalamunda is excited to announce the launch of its Appointment-Based Duty Planner trial, marking a significant step towards enhancing customer satisfaction and accessibility to planning information for the community.

In response to valuable feedback, the City has initiated a trial period for transitioning our Duty Planner service from a walk-in system to an appointment-based approach. This trial, set to roll out from Tuesday 4 June 2024, aims to address the challenges faced by our community members due to the limited availability and long wait times associated with the previous walk-in system.

Under the new appointment-based system, residents will have the opportunity to schedule dedicated appointments with our knowledgeable planners, ensuring personalised support and tailored guidance for their planning enquiries. This change not only improves accessibility but also streamlines the planning process, reducing wait times and enhancing overall customer experience.

Appointments will be carefully scheduled and allocated to the relevant team member, considering the complexity of each enquiry.

The City is committed to continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery. The Appointment-Based Duty Planner Service reflects our dedication to meeting the evolving needs of our community and ensuring that planning information is easily accessible and convenient for all residents.
