The City of Kalamunda Council resolved to enter into a partnership agreement with the Kalamunda Chamber of Commerce at the April Ordinary Council Meeting.
The City of Kalamunda Council resolved to enter into a partnership agreement with the Kalamunda Chamber of Commerce at the April Ordinary Council Meeting.
The Partnership Agreement outlines the reciprocal benefits and financial agreements between the City and the Chamber in order to achieve relevant business and economic objectives.
Mayor Margaret Thomas said, “The City is proud to support the Chamber, including providing space for the Chamber to operate at the Zig Zag Cultural Centre, hosting of workshops, business support and support for the operation of the Kalamunda Farmers Market and the Night Market.”
“The City of Kalamunda is a business destination spoilt for choice with a diverse mix of natural assets and employment drivers that complement each other in delivering locally sustainable jobs and businesses. We are proud to work with the Chamber to ensure the strong economic growth and diversity of our amazing region.”
President Jon Elbery said, "The Kalamunda Chamber of Commerce is a not for profit organisation committed to building a better local business community. We are grateful to the City of Kalamunda Councillors and staff for their essential support in the provision of our programs."
