Restricted burning period in effect from 1 October – 30 November
From 1 October the restricted burning rules come into effect, and permits are required for any burn piles over 1m3 and/or if you wish to burn before 6 pm
Burn piles smaller than 1m3 can be lit without a permit only between 6pm and 11pm and must be fully extinguished no later than midnight.

New signalised pedestrian crossing approved for Canning Road
The City of Kalamunda has received approval from Main Roads WA to install a new signalised pedestrian crossing on Canning Road, replacing the existing zebra crossing near IGA.
