Notice of Making of Local Law

The Council of the City of Kalamunda resolved on 22 September to make the Local Government Property Local Law 2026.

Local Government Act 1995 [s. 3.12(4), (6)]

In accordance with section 3.12(4) of the Local Government Act 1995, the Council of the City of Kalamunda resolved on 22 September 2026 to make the Local Government Property Local Law 2026.

The local law was published in the Government Gazette on 2 October 2026 and comes into effect on 16 October 2026.

The purpose of the local law is to provide for the regulation and management of activities on local government property in the district.

The effect of the local law is that any person being on local government property in the district must comply with the requirements of the local law. 

A copy of the local law may be inspected on the City’s website or obtained from the City’s Administration Centre at 2 Railway Road, Kalamunda, the Kalamunda Library, the Forrestfield Library, the Lesmurdie Library and the High Wycombe Library during normal opening hours.
