Wicking beds – make gardening easier!
16 May 2024 : 10:00 AM - 16 May 2024 : 11:30 AM
Learn how to create your own wicking beds and make gardening easier.
Wicking beds are said to help you grow bigger and better veggies and flowers but what are they and how do they work?
Michael Bradley from the Little Veggie Patch, a local developer of wicking beds, will explain how wicking beds help you grow bigger and better veggies and flowers. His latest projects are helping local governments use them in their tree planting projects to make sure watering is easy during our hot summers. He will bring along sample wicking pots and components and show you photos of the plants growing in them.
