The Jarrah Celts: Ceilidh Dance
08 December 2023 : 7:00 PM - 08 December 2023 : 7:00 PM
A night of Scottish dancing and rowdy pub ballads: the perfect way to connect to Scottish roots.
In Scottish Gaelic a ceilidh is a social gathering, which means lots of dancing, Celtic music and good craic. And that's exactly what is happenidn in the Agricultural Hall at Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre in December. What better way to kick off your festive celebrations?
We're talking a night of Scottish dancing and rowdy pub ballads, backed by the outstanding musicianship of the Perth Hill's own Celtic band, The Jarrah Celts.
Don't worry if you don't know the dance steps - The Jarrah Celts will show you how and all the dances will be called so everyone can join in.
As for the pub ballads - if you don't know the choruses already, you will do by the end of the night!
The perfect way to connect to ancestral Scottish roots.
Kilts and tartan fully encouraged!
Cheeseboards are available for pre-order: must be pre-purchased by Monday 4th December
