Stirk Park Playground and Skate Park Opening

This is a momentous occasion for our community and we want to celebrate it with you!

Event Highlights:

11:00 AM - Official Opening: Join us as we cut the ribbon and officially open the brand-new Stirk Park Playground and Skate Park. Witness this exciting moment and be among the first to experience the state-of-the-art facilities.

11:30 AM to 3:00PM - Community Event: The celebration continues with a day filled with fun and activities for all ages:

Skate Demos: Whether you're a seasoned skater or a beginner, this is your chance to watch some of the best and then show off your own talents!

Basketball Clinic: The Eastern Suns are here to offer a fantastic basketball clinic. Learn from the pros, practice your shots, and have a great time on the court.

Sausage Sizzle*: Delicious food awaits you with a sizzling sausage BBQ. Enjoy a mouthwatering meal while mingling with your friends and neighbours.

Plenty of Shade: We've ensured there is ample shade to keep you comfortable during the event.

Explore the New Playground: Discover the fantastic features and exciting elements of the newly constructed playground, where kids of all ages can play and have fun.

Parking Information:

Parking will be limited due to the park’s popularity. To assist, a free shuttle bus will operate between the City of Kalamunda Administration Building, located at 2 Railway Road, Kalamunda, and Elizabeth Street every 15 minutes from 10.45am to 3pm. Visitors are also encouraged to park in the City Centre and take a short walk to Stirk Park to ensure a seamless experience.
