Zig Zag Early Years Partnership's goal is to support families and children aged 0 to 8 in the City of Kalamunda.
Identifying the youth interests, issues and aspirations of the Kalamunda community and establishes priorities and strategies to guide the City over the next five years
This is a 12-month position that is offered to a new young person each year
Do you know someone who volunteers their time and is passionate about making a difference? If they are 12-25 years old, why not give them the recognition they deserve and nominate them.

Join Zig Zag Early Years Partnership and the Telethon Kids Institute's to gain a greater understanding of how your baby communicates with you and how to spot differences earlier!
Babies are born with remarkable abilities to communicate yet sometimes the social and communication skills of babies can develop differently to what we typically expect.
Telethon Kids Institute's Inklings is a new program for babies aged 6-18 months who are showing early differences in their social interaction and communication development, come along to hear more about the program
About Presenter: Michelle Renton, Inklings Specialist
Michelle is a Speech Pathologist by background with a passion for supporting children with communication challenges and their families through her work with families in the WA Metropolitan and Country Health Services, as well as the disability sector. Michelle has been involved in a number of clinical trials at the Telethon Kids Institute, including research into pre-emptive programs for infants, which support the development of social-communication skills in the first year of life. Michelle has been integral in the development of the clinical program, Inklings and is an Inklings trainer.
