Self taught after discovering her passion and love for painting, Johanna primarily uses soft pastels and acrylic on canvas however other works include use of ink, oils. Painting mostly realism, her subject matter is predominantly animals, birds and portraits. Johanna’s art focal point is about the eyes, they breathe life into my paintings and capture the emotion of my subjects. Commencing in 2016, Johanna has commissioned several pieces locally and internationally and exhibits her works to public and community venues as well as donating various pieces works to charities.
