Local Planning Policy 33: Tree Retention - Revocation Notice
It is hereby notified that Local Planning Policy 33 – Tree Retention (LPP 33) is revoked and is no longer a valid local planning policy beyond 1 March 2024.
This Notice gives effect to the Notice of Motion 11.1 of City of Kalamunda 28 February Ordinary Council Meeting and is provided to satisfy the notification requirements of Clause 6(b) of Schedule 2, Part 3 of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015.
This notice to revoke LPP 33 does not remove the requirement to obtain development approval for clearing trees in some circumstances. Clearing of trees can still be considered works that require approval depending on the scale and impact of the clearing.
Exemptions will continue to be available where needed, and you are encouraged to discuss you specific circumstances with the City’s Development Services on 9257 9999 or via enquiries@kalamunda.wa.gov.au .
