A Total Fire Ban has been declared for Thursday, 15 February 2024 for the City of Kalamunda.
On a TFB day, it is illegal to light an open-air fire or conduct any activity that could start a fire. A full list of prohibited activities can be found on the DFES website https://www.dfes.wa.gov.au/hazard.../bushfire/total-fire-ban
In the event of a fire, residents should call 000 immediately.
*** The HVMB IS NO LONGER IN PLACE *** In addition to today's Total Fire Ban, the City of Kalamunda declared a Harvest and Vehicle Movement Ban (HVMB) for a 2 hour period from 8am to 10am. Please note: the Walliston Transfer Station. is closed when a HVMB is in place.
