A Total Fire Ban has been declared for Thursday, 1 February 2024 for the City of Kalamunda.
On a TFB day, it is illegal to light an open-air fire or conduct any activity that could start a fire. A full list of prohibited activities can be found on the DFES website https://www.dfes.wa.gov.au/hazard.../bushfire/total-fire-ban
There is also a Harvest & Vehicle Movement Ban (HVMB) in the City of Kalamunda from 2:00pm to 5:00pm on Thursday, 1 February 2023.
The Walliston Transfer Station will be closed from 1pm, Thursday 1 February to facilitate the HVMB.
