17 January 2024 8:35 AM

Get ready to make a splash at the City of Kalamunda's much-loved annual Pool Party on Friday, 26 January 2024, at the Kalamunda Water Park. This vibrant event is not just a celebration of Australia Day; it's a fantastic tribute to shared experiences, fostering unity within our diverse community.

The national campaign for Australia Day – “We're all part of the Story” - underscores the idea that every Australian contributes to our national identity and the City proudly acknowledges Auspire for its invaluable support and commitment to fostering a sense of belonging.

Mayor Margaret Thomas encourages everyone to commemorate the day their way, saying, "There’s no one way to mark Australia Day but for those who want to, let's celebrate together at the Kalamunda Water Park on what is expected to be a hot day. Join us poolside for a day filled with joy, laughter, and shared experiences."

The event will start with a Welcome to Country followed by some land-based activities including Damper Preparation and Bush Tucker Tasting, offering a taste of traditional Australian cuisine.

The Pool Party then promises a wave of excitement with activities including slides, giant inflatables, the Monsterball Pirate Ship, Spider Mountain & Trampoline, a live DJ, face painting, and bubble art. Ensuring accessibility for all, the City of Kalamunda is offering 2 for 1 entry – double the fun for everyone.

Gates open at 9:30 am, with activities scheduled from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. Early Bird 2 for 1 entry passes are now available at the Kalamunda Water Park and on the day.
