City Celebrates Vital Volunteers

In celebration of International Volunteer Day, the City of Kalamunda will proudly honour the indomitable spirit of volunteers, acknowledging their enduring impact on the local community during its annual 'Thank a Volunteer' luncheon on Friday, 8 December 2023.

Mayor Margaret Thomas expressed her gratitude for the unwavering dedication, selfless contributions, and boundless enthusiasm of local volunteers.

"As a community, the City of Kalamunda is unwavering in its commitment to fostering connections, promoting growth, and shaping the future of our remarkable region," Mayor Thomas affirmed.

"We recognise that our community's prosperity is deeply intertwined with the invaluable efforts of our volunteers. They are the backbone of our shared aspirations.

"The dedication displayed by our volunteering community is a testament to our collective spirit. On behalf of the Council, City staff, our community, and local business owners, I extend profound thanks for sculpting our community into the vibrant tapestry it is today."
