Kalamunda Water Park Open for the 2023-24 Season
The City of Kalamunda is thrilled to celebrate the 2023-24 season opening of the Kalamunda Water Park.
The pool gates opened on Monday, 20 November with the iconic slides - the Zig Zag and Corkscrew - set to be unveiled following an exciting glow-up and refurbishment this Saturday, 25 November.
Mayor Margaret Thomas said the Kalamunda Water Park has been an iconic destination for nearly 60 years.
“The facility opened to the community in March 1964 and has been the backdrop of shared memories and cherished moments ever since,” Cr Thomas said.
“So many families have shared their fond memories of bringing their children and grandchildren to the water park and I am pleased to have played a role in Council's recent approval of a nearly one-million-dollar investment to enhance the amenity and experience for all visitors.”
The Kalamunda Water Park boasts a range of fantastic options for all ages, making it the perfect destination for a day of fun and relaxation.
Apart from the two amazing tube slides, guests can enjoy an eight-lane 50m Olympic pool, two children’s pools, a toddler splash pad, a convenient kiosk, spacious lawns and shaded picnic areas, a shaded grandstand, and gas BBQs available for hire (BYO utensils).
Local school children should also pencil in Thursday, 14 December for the “Schools Out Pool Party”, which will be a fun packed end of school term celebration. The event will commence at 3:30pm till 7pm, with under 18s able to use the pool and water slides for only $5.00.
The park also offers free parking, ensuring a hassle-free experience for all.
