Total Fire Ban and Harvest & Vehicle Movement Ban issued for Saturday 4 November 2023
THIS NOTICE HAS EXPIRED - DFES has declared a Total Fire Ban for the City of Kalamunda on Saturday, 4 November 2023. There is also a Harvest & Vehicle Movement Ban in the City of Kalamunda from 8:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday, 4 November 2023. This will be reviewed at 12:30pm on Saturday 4 November 2023. Please note: The Walliston Transfer Station is CLOSED during a Harvest & Vehicle Movement Ban.
On a TFB day, it is illegal to light an open-air fire or conduct any activity that could start a fire. A full list of prohibited activities can be found on the DFES website https://www.dfes.wa.gov.au/hazard-information/bushfire/total-fire-ban
Some
businesses may still carry out activities where the appropriate
exemption has been acquired and if they comply with the conditions of
the exemption.
