Christmas & New Year Opening Times
A Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to All from the City Mayor, Councillors, CEO & all the staff. Additional recycling bin collections and some of our facilities including Ranger Services have adjusted operating hours over this festive season.
NOTE: On Friday, 15 December 2023 some of our City facilities including the Administration Centre, all Libraries and Walliston Transfer Station will be closing early.
BIN COLLECTION:
Fortnightly recycling collections will resume as per the waste services calendar the week commencing 8th January 2024.
RANGER HOURS:
The City of Kalamunda Rangers hours of operation are as follows:
Christmas Day, 25 December 2023: No Rangers on Duty
Boxing
Day, 26 December 2023: No Rangers on Duty
27 December 2022 - 1 January
2023: 7:30am – 4pm each day
Residents who have found animals on Christmas Day or Boxing Day are encouraged to hold until the next working day or alternatively take the animal to a local emergency vet. Please DO NOT trap cats from 25-26 December 2023 due to seasonal hot weather and as cats cannot be collected until Rangers are back on shift, 27 December 2023.
Normal hours resume for City of Kalamunda on Tuesday, 2 January 2023.
