City of Kalamunda Transitions to Restricted Burning Season
Sunday, 1 October 2023, marks the start of the City’s restricted burning season when permits to burn* are required for burning activities.
The restricted burning period runs until 30 November 2023. Fire permits to burn can be obtained by contacting the City of Kalamunda Community Bushfire Preparedness Team on 9257 9999 or email email@example.com
Residents and landowners are encouraged to be mindful of the restricted burning timeframe and take necessary precautions during outdoor activities.

* Residents can burn a 1m3 pile from 6pm - 11pm without a permit during the restricted burning season.
