Local Events Receive Funding in Support of a Vibrant City
The City of Kalamunda has announced the recipients of the 2023 Events Donations & Sponsorships program.
The annual program aims to support and empower local events that enrich the cultural fabric of our community.
The grant recipients and their respective events include Kalamunda Open Studios 7 - 8 October 2023 and 13 – 14 April 2024, Falls Road Primary School Moonlight Markets Friday, 17 November 2023, The Forest Festival Sunday, 12 November 2023, the Kalamunda Garden Festival four events across the year (the first Sunday of every season), JAKS Social Jigsaw Evenings and Jigsaw Competition Nights monthly on a Thursday evening, Mary's Mount Twilight In The Park 2024 Friday, 16 February 2024, and the Volleyball WA Kalamunda Cup Thursday, 16 November 2023.
Acting CEO Gary Ticehurst expressed his enthusiasm for the diverse events and the anticipated impact on the community.
“The City of Kalamunda prides itself on providing the community with opportunities for social and cultural enjoyment,” he said.
"We are proud to support these outstanding events that bring our community together and celebrate our unique culture.
