The City of Kalamunda is urging those with a WA Senior’s Card to register to receive the State Government’s annual Cost of Living Rebate before the end of May.
In addition to the Cost of Living Rebate, card holders can access a variety of concessions and rebates including free off-peak public transport and a $400 Safety and Security Rebate.
Mayor Margaret Thomas said the initiative is extremely beneficial and encourages all eligible seniors to sign up before the 31 May deadline.
“Programs and services aimed at easing cost of living pressures for our most vulnerable people are welcome,” Cr Thomas said. “Spreading the word about what financial help and support is available to our community is vital otherwise these opportunities are simply missed.”
To access the online Cost of Living Rebate application form, visit the Senior’s Card website https://www.seniorscard.wa.gov.au/forms-guides/ before 31 May 2023.
