As part of National Volunteer Week, the City of Kalamunda would like to thank the many dedicated residents who contribute to the local community through volunteering.

Mayor Margaret Thomas said from 15 to 21 May 2023, the community is encouraged to celebrate National Volunteer Week by shining a spotlight on the people who provide so much to others by giving one of the most precious things we have – their time.

“Our local volunteers play a vital role in in the roll out of community service programs such as community bus drivers, environmental groups, Kalamunda Compassionate Communities, Youth Action Kalamunda, Woodlupine Coffee Lounge and many more,” Cr Thomas said.

“I want to thank all of our local volunteers for their commitment and support and also invite anyone thinking about volunteering to give it a go, there really is a group, program or service that would love to welcome you and have you on board.”
