
Kalamunda Bushfire Brigade 2023 Firefighter School
The Kalamunda Bush Fire Brigade is looking for new members to help protect the City of Kalamunda from the threat of fire. They are seeking anyone interested in either frontline firefighting or people from behind the front line such as catering and incident support.
Differing from a traditional volunteer firefighter role, the Incident Support Team provides support to incidents through administration, communications and logistics.
To join the brigade as a firefighter,
- you must be aged 18 years or older,
- have your driver's license and
- be physically fit.
- All members must live permanently within the City of Kalamunda.
Additionally, you will also be required to complete a City of Kalamunda pre-employment medical, and a criminal history check.
after. Frontline firefighters will be fully trained and passed of their probationary period by November in time for the Bush Fire Season.
