Have Your Say: Proposed Childcare Premises – Lot 69 (35) Sanderson Road, Lesmurdie (DA22/0132)
As you may be aware the City received an application for a childcare premises at the above-mentioned site. As part of the application the proposal sought to utilise a portion of the reserve as an outdoor play area. The proponent has withdrawn the application to exercise a portion of the reserve and has submitted amended plans.
Please be advised the City is not the determining authority, and the application will be determined by the Outer Metropolitan Joint Development Assessment Panel. The City is required to prepare a Responsible Authority Report (RAR) that provides a comprehensive assessment of the application and a recommendation to the Panel.
- Two storey childcare centre
- The outdoor play areas are now within the carparking areas and not the reserve
- The hours of operation are Monday to Friday 6:30am til 7pm
- A maximum number of 86 children is proposed
- 19 staff members are proposed
- Removal of one of the crossovers onto Willoughby – please note the existing crossover will remain and will provide dual access.
