** NOTE: This event has been CANCELLED - due to current health advice this event is cancelled *** The City of Kalamunda has invited its under-25s to a brainstorming session over pizza to identify new programs or activities the City can launch to improve community safety and crime prevention.

Mayor Margaret Thomas said the City wants ideas from young people. “We’re looking for young people to work with each other to design what they’d like to see in their community, whether it be street basketball, outdoor art or DIY workshops.”

“We will have some free pizza to spur on the thinking, and encourage you all to come along on Wednesday 25 March 2020 at Hartfield Park Recreation Centre 199 Hale Rd, Forrestfield.”

Keeping Kalamunda’s offerings relevant to all ages groups was important, Ms Thomas said. “It’s important for us to understand what the community needs from our programs and services. This is a fantastic opportunity for people under 25 to have their voice heard.”
