High Wycombe’s Range View Reserve will receive a revamp later this year, with $50,000 in funding allocated in the City of Kalamunda’s 2019/2020 budget to playground upgrades.

Mayor John Giardina said, “We are fortunate to have over 200 reserves here in the City of Kalamunda, not to mention the many regional and national parks, state forest and bush forever sites.

The City is passionate about delivering quality facilities and open spaces for everyone in our community to enjoy. This makes for an extensive and jam-packed asset maintenance and renewal program.

This program is often aided by the feedback we receive from the community.

We are excited to be able to deliver these improvements for High Wycombe locals as part of this year’s program.”

The playground upgrades include new soft fall, formal surrounds, additional play items and a redesign of the existing equipment location.

Works are scheduled to commence in late 2019 and will be complete in early 2020.
