Mayor John Giardina said, “The Corymbia Multicultural Festival is of major significance to the City of Kalamunda. It brings everyone together to recognise and celebrate our diverse backgrounds. We are very lucky to be able to experience and enjoy the stories, food, dance, music and rituals of countries from all around the globe right here in our City.”
The Festival is a community free event, showcasing live music and dance from different cultures. The grounds have been tailored to keep kids and families entertained all day, with carnival rides, inflatables, arcade games and a plethora of kids’ activities on offer.
The day of vibrancy and colour will draw to a close with an impressive fireworks display around 8pm.
The event is expected to draw over 5000 people, with everyone and anyone welcome to join the festivities
