Forrestfield Library invites you to join this FREE information session to learn how an advocate can support your rights and understand people's rights in care.
Advocare offers a free WA State-wide education program to promote understanding of older people’s rights in homecare and residential aged care and to raise public awareness of how to prevent, identify and respond to elder abuse.
This sessions covers the following topics:
- Access to advocacy/access to support services;
- Charter of Rights in Aged Care;
- Future Planning/Protection from Elder Abuse;
- Community Visitors Scheme.
