Due to the changing nature of dementia, it is likely support needs of the person with dementia, their families and carers, will differ at various stages of the disease. Dementia Australia understand what people go through after receiving a diagnosis of dementia and that everyone’s experience is unique.

This program will support you to connect with and access services in your area.

Dementia Australia is seeking participants aged over 65 (or over 50 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders) who reside in Newcastle and the Hunter region NSW, Perth WA and surrounding areas.

Participation in the trial is free.

You will be asked to evaluate the trial and your experiences will allow us to improve the support we provide to people wanting to access aged care services.
