2019 Children’s Book Week
Every day - All Day
We are very excited to be hosting four fantastic authors – Aska (Illustrator), Josh Langley, Karen Blair and Ken Spillman who will be presenting sessions at each of our Libraries.
Over 800 local school children from Pre-Primary through to Year 7 and 8 will be attending the author sessions.
Theme: ‘Reading is My Secret Power’

In addition to these fabulous author talks, each of the Libraries will be displaying the short-listed Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) Books together with displays based on the 2019 theme ‘Reading is My Secret Power.’
Children’s Book Week 2019 is sponsored by the Department of Local Government, Sports and Cultural Industries, Lotterywest, Healthway: Go for 2&5 Health Message, Children’s Book Council Western Australia Branch and the City of Kalamunda.
