08 May 2021 : 10:00 AM - 06 June 2021 : 4:00 PM
An exhibition of works by artist, Helen Lock featuring Australian wildflowers using acrylics.
Exhibition Dates: 8 May 2021 - 6 June 2021
Opening Event: 8 May 2021 @ 6.00pm
Inspired early in life by Pablo Picasso’s use of language as well as his art, the words “Good artists copy, great artists steal”, and Austin Kleon’s book ‘Steal Like An Artist', Helen has been able to use this to learn and further her works. Following her many travels, she took this inspiration and applied it from seeing firsthand the various original works by European master painters. These exhibition works are the result from this inspiration and learning how to incorporate various techniques into her Australian flora works.
