Similar to applying for a business licence without providing the necessary registration documents, a Development Application cannot be properly assessed without the required plans and supporting information. Please collect all the relevant plans and supporting documentation for preliminary review.
Once received, the City will be able to advise whether the proposal is ready for lodgement or if any additional information is required.
However, please proceed with the self-assessment as it can guide and assist you if you’re unsure on what documents to provide.
Lodging a Development Application without all required supporting information is similar to submitting a job application with a strong résumé but without references or qualifications. While much of the information is available, the assessment cannot be completed until the remaining documents have been provided.
Cover Letter / Report

Once these documents have been received, the City will be in a position to proceed with the application.
Thank you for providing the required plans and supporting documentation for the proposed Development Application.
Based on the information submitted, the documentation appears sufficient for the application to be lodged and formally assessed by the City. Please note that the City's acceptance of the application for lodgement does not guarantee approval.
Further information may be requested during the assessment process if required; however, the application is considered adequately documented to proceed to formal assessment.
However, please proceed with the self-assessment as it can guide and assist you if you require more information.
