Upcoming roadworks - February 2025 (Walliston, Kalamunda & Maida Vale)

As part of the City of Kalamunda’s 2024/25 Capital Works Budget, several key road renewal projects will be taking place throughout the City this month. These upgrades will improve road safety and enhance travel for our community.

1. Lawnbrook Road West, Pomeroy Road, and Palmateer Drive, Walliston

  • Date of Closure: Wednesday 26 February 2025 – Friday 28 February 2025 
  • Duration: 3 days
  • Hours of work: 7am - 5pm

2. Mundaring Weir Road (Railway Road to Crescent Road), Kalamunda

  • When: Wednesday 26 February - Thursday 27 February 2025
  • Duration: 2 days
  • Hours of work: 7am - 6pm daily

3. Kalamunda Road (Hawtin Road and Priory Road), Maida Vale

  • When: Thursday 27 February 2025
  • Duration: 1 day
  • Hours of work: 6pm - 5am (night works)

4. Kalamunda Road, Maida Vale (Water Corporation Works)

  • When: Thursday 27 February 2025
  • Duration: 1 day
  • Hours of work: 6pm - 5am (night works)

Important information:

  • These timeframes could change due to contractor availability and weather conditions.
  • Emergency services, local businesses, and residents will be notified in advance. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained.
  • Please follow all detour signage and allow extra travel time.
  • We appreciate your patience and cooperation during these necessary works.
