Application deadline for variation to FHRN approaching

The deadline for applying for a variation to the works outlined in the Fire Hazard Reduction Notice (FHRN) is 1 October.
Any applications received after that date will attract an administration fee of $150.
It’s important to note that a variation is not an exemption from the requirements set out in the FHRN, but an application to employ alternative methods of property preparedness to land that you own and/or occupy.
The application must be made in writing to the City of Kalamunda, and must outline the alternative prevention measures you plan to undertake.
You can download and complete a Variation Request Application, or you can complete and submit the form online.
Without an approved variation, the deadline for compliance with the works outlined in the FHRN is 1 November.
