Save the date: Plants for Residents Program – Update
The City of Kalamunda is preparing to launch the highly anticipated Plants for Residents Program for 2026!
Plants for Residents is one of the City's most popular community sustainability initiatives.
This year’s program will open Expressions of Interest in May, giving residents the chance to go into a lottery to receive free native plants that support local biodiversity, reduce water use, and contribute to a greener neighbourhood.
Successful applicants will be invited to attend the collection day on 6 June.
Full program details, including registration information, plant species, and participation guidelines, will be released closer to the opening date.
We thank the community for their ongoing enthusiasm and encourage residents to keep an eye on our channels for further announcements.
